         I've never liked limewire and any java only application I have 
used has always been troublesome and slow in performance. For P2P, I prefer 
using BitTorrent, emule and Acquisition. The later is MacOS 10.x only, but 
the other two run on all platforms. There is a nice emule that runs in the 
background and you can access it via telnet or via a webpage.
