[Discuss] /tmp permissions

Hello,

I recently had an issue with /tmp partition being too small
and filling up. Since /tmp was a partition on it's own,
and I had a larger spare partition, I decided to just edit
/etc/fstab and reboot. This worked except for some applications
had problems with permissions while writing to the directory.

What should the proper permissions be for /tmp ?
I temporarily set them to 777, but would rather have the
correct permissions. I guess I should have looked before
rebooting...
