[Discuss] Microsoft walks away from Yahoo

My own view is this would have been a horrible acquisition for MS; because
of the cultural differences between the companies MS would have had to
destroy most of the value of Yahoo in order to digest it.  So it would have
been a $48 billion expense to MS with not much to show for it except
additional headaches/losses for the company.

Too bad cooler heads prevailed at MS.  I was really hoping Ballmer's hubris
would force a Yahoo takeover that would imperil MS as a result.
