According to 
http://www.shaw.ca/en-ca/ProductsServices/BundlesAndPricing/ProductsPricing.htm 
there is an increase in price of $5 per month if a modem is rented vs if 
the modem is not being rented.

In any event, I'm going to have to look at the actual bills we've been 
getting and see if they're the best ones we could be getting.
