I think both Office Depot and Staples offer this service. Other
possibilities are Monk's and Island Blueprint. I looked into something
something similar last year, but what I wanted to scan were colour pages
12"X12", and only Island Blueprint could do it, and that was pretty
expensive. I ended up scanning the left and right halves of the pages on
my Epson flatbed scanner and stitching the two halves together using GIMP.

If you have access to a Windows 98 computer, I could loan you (or sell
cheap) my Logitek Colour Page Scanner, which has a sheet feeder. It
connects to a parallel port and has a gimmick that lets you have a
printer connected to the same port. I think that will work with most HP
parallel printers, but it does NOT work with the Okidata OL600e B&W LED
printer.

The last I checked (which was well over a year ago now), there were no
drivers for either Windows XP or LINUX. That could have changed. I
think I have the manual and Windows 98 installation disks for it.

------------
If Peter does not want the scanner, is anyone else interested? I was
thinking that about $20 would be a fair price for it.

Murray
