[Discuss] VLUG and BB&C Beginners SIG

Hi everyone,
I am pleased to announce a newly formed partnership with one of our fellow computer
clubs in town, Big Blue & Cousins. BB&C for those that don't know has many small groups
within their club that are organized around specific subjects. There has been an
increase lately of BB&C members interested in Linux and so the decision was made to
form a Linux SIG (Special Interest Group). Through this partnership BB&C will provide
their clubhouse as the meeting location and VLUG will provide the SIG Leader(expertise).

If you are a "beginner" Linux user and you would like to attend please see the following
page for more details, but PLEASE PLEASE email our Secretary if you intend to participate
as there is limited room.

p.s. The group will run until the summer when a decision will be made, by both clubs, on
whether to keep the SIG going or to seek other avenues for the beginners.
