[Discuss] Great Computer forsomeone new to Linux

Hi All,

I have an older tower that I want to get rid of. Ideally I would like
it to go to someone that is experimenting with Linux for the first
time and wants a spare machine to play with (or someone that doesn't
have a computer at all).

It is currently running Ubuntu 7.10 quite capably and would make a
great computer for surfing the web, checking email, and other casual
tasks. Comes with two 17 GB Fujitsu hard drives, 384 Mb of memory, AMD
1300 Mhz Duron CPU, basic nVidia Graphics card (in addition to onboard
graphics card), and a SoundBlasterLive sound card. This computer does
not have a CD-ROM or DVD drive. Speakers and sub woofer also
available.

I'm thinking $40 is a very reasonable price.
