My tenant uses Shaw VoIP and is very happy with the quality. http://voipreview.org/service.all.aspx?graph=367 suggests that you can keep your number and that it has 911 service. Personally, we use a mobile phone and skype. Not as convenient, but meets all our mobile needs and is affordable. Hope that helps, Lloyd
