I found this distro today (and I tried it):
http://www.grafpup.org/download.php
It is quite good. It is meant to be used from a liveCD, and gives
options to save otherwise volatile data (such as the home directory)
to a flash drive or other type fo media.
What I find most useful is that it contains tools that support colour
manaagement under Linux (such as cinepaint and ufraw). It has very
good software to do most image processing of photographs, including
RAW -> JPEG/TIFF support.
