If you read that story, it sounds like the reporter was rather amazed at ho=

the case ended up as a conviction. To my mind there seem to be a number of
disturbing similarities (no real evidence, another person who is a known
murderer hanging around but ignored because the defendant was somebody the
police and ultimately the judge and jury did not like) to the Baltovich cas=

As in the Baltovich case, I wouldn't be surprised if Reiser gets exonerated
way down the road. Of course in this case Hans Reiser went against the
advice of his lawyer in taking the stand since there was essentially no cas=
e
to anwer at that point, but nobody should pay such a huge price for such an
error in judgement.
