This is still a K3b verify problem, but perhaps a different one.

On my wife's computer, K3b works exactly as I would expect. If I select
"verify" when I compile a CD/DVD, copy either, or burn an ISO CD/DVD
image, it goes through the write phase, ejects the written CD/DVD,
closes the door and verifies the CD/DVD. Once in a while there is an
error, but this is pretty rare.

On my computer, it goes through the write phase, ejects the disk but
does not reload it for the verify phase (this is both on the CD and
DVD/CD writer on my computer). It does not help to manually reload the
disk. Both computers are running Kubuntu 7.10, the same version of K3b
which, as far as I can tell, is configured the same way on both computers.

Anyone have any ideas on what is going on here? The disks on my
computer seem to be written OK, but they just don't get verified. I
should try the python script mentioned in the post above, but thought I
would see if anyone else has had this problem and fixed it first.

Thanks.

Murray
