Hi Joan. I didn't take much in the way of notes, but there was a good 
sharing of ideas, of suggestions and the like. Patrick and I both are 
available for BofD posts. We'll submit formal volunteerings for the
BoD to Andrew (pres at vlug.org) and hope  that things will improve  for 
the  Group. One suggestion was that we  go to  the BB&C Clubhouse on 
Burnside Rd. ,  and provide  Linux lessons for both clubs.   We're 
thinking of some meeting presentations. One would be a review of Ubuntu 
and its relatives (Kubuntu for instance) I would be prepared to do 
something on this. A presentation on certain procedures, such  as 
unpacking a .tar.gz simple enough for us n00bies is another idea.At the 
BB&C clubhouse we could have "hands-on" presentations for up to 20 
attendees. Other than that, not too much that will really get things 
going, I'm afraid.
