Patrick & Gordon: Thanks so much for responding and having volunteered. My
apologies for not having gone back and checked the list although I was
specifically referring to no one willing to stand for the BOD as required by
the Society Act<g>. Volunteers not on the Board are also absolutely
necessary for any organization.

Thanks also to Gordon for your comment regarding the two groups within VLUG
which is obviously the makeup of other groups given the split meeting
concept used by several. Would you see this concept being a workable
compromise between the two groups?
