	I had/have the misfortune of having a PCI wifi card that was/is 
unsupported by Ubuntu. That said, this was with the earlier versions and 
I have not taken the time to try again. Now that the newest Ubuntu is 
free in the wild, I should try again.

	First thing to try is set the wifi router to no security and see if you 
can connect then. If so, you now know it has something to do with 
authentication. If you still can not connect, then this likely points to 
unsupported hardware and an intense session of Googleing should follow. 
You will need to know what chipset your wifi device is using in order to 
find out if it can be made to work or not.
