THANKS!  The new website you gave me does work fine.  The download from 
edgy worked fine, and the install was very easy. In addition, it seems 
that Acroread got put in all the correct places.  I must say, that this 
works much more smoothly (thanks to all the help in shortening my 
learning curve for the new system) than it did with Mandriva.
