gFortran handles F77 so it already pretty much meets my needs. Any
fortran code that I run into is usually old F77.

I find the GNU compiler site a bit painful to find anything at.
I guess I missed the wiki link... Thanks for that. I see farther
down that page where they've hidden the manuals.

Unrelated to this, during my travels, I actually found an online
petition demanding the *death* of fortran as a language:

Must be java programmers I guess. ;)
All this time I thought PHP was the evil language. Who knew?

With regards to PLplot, does gnuplot use PLplot API or
is that something completely different? The reason I ask is
I was gnuplot with Octave recently.
