[Discuss] Jobs at Userful: Sales, Marketing, Customer Care

Hey everybody,

My company is hiring. Who are we? We do managed desktop Linux, one of
the few in town.We also build multiseat X stuff, one of the few in the
world. We are looking for all sorts of people, although the office
here in town is mostly marketing and sales focused. Why are we hiring
so aggressively? We just moved into a new office right on Fan Tan
Alley downtown, so we have lots of space to expand into.

For those who want a few more details, here are some specifics on
different jobs:

Technology Focused:

    * documentation of products and processes
    * help with website
    * support internal IT in new projects and maintaince.
    * support development with hardware, software and network tinkering

Customer Service Focused:

    * communication with customers & training
    * support of sales staff
    * direct customer support

Sales Focused:

    * join our growing sales team to sell our managed desktop Linux
product in existing verticals
    * help pioneer new verticals
    * forge reseller relationships in new and existing verticals

Marketing Focused:

    * help with marketing--press releases, website work, case studies
