 Let me guess the linksys is fairly new. A version v4 or v5

 If you connect the DLink router (LAN port) to the LAN port of the linksys,
not the WAN port. Disable the Linksys DHCP, this will bridge your DLink LAN
with the wireless of the Linksys.

DLink --> Linksys Ethernet switch --> Linksys wireless --> Xbox.

Just refresh/renew you xbox IP and it will retrieve one from the DLink.
