I disagree. I think you should learn to search the web first...

After you've figured that out, you can find the XHTML 1.0 spec document, 
which you should read. Then you should do a few tutorials on the 'net 
(ones that don't use tools). Then you should go back and read the spec 
documentation.

Then maybe you'll know what you're doing with HTML. Then you can go read 
about CSS; follow the same procedure. Then you can learn to program in 
Javascript.

Once you know these things well, you'll be employable.
