[Discuss] setting up a new server

My old server died. Both HD's toasted consecutively. I now have a new 
setup and have run into two problems. It's fedora core 7 ( no I will not 
switch to someone else's idea of the "Perfect Distro") I just have a 
single question. I have an extra drive that I have added as /mnt/share 
that I want everyone to be able to create and read files but I have 
either forgotten how to do this or something has changed in the last 4 
distro's that will not let me do this any more. anyone have the majik 
hint that will let me set this drive to be writeable by all users?
The other problem is with samba and I'm working through this one (or so 
help me god you'll read about me in the news as an insurance statistic.
