Okay. I had a look at the `to-do' list for topics of future
meetings, and figured I can talk about cron and scripting for a
while. Can't promise I'll make any *sense* about it [very little
public speaking experience], but it's worth a try.

Not just bash and sh, btw. I also want to learn more about
MurgaLua, because it's a nice bridge between CLI and GUI.

Python too, for the same reason.

Can't help noticing the subject line has `mini-presentation' in
it. So if Jeremy needs some filler, I could talk about DSL too,
briefly, after he's done.

Or as kind of an opening act... or comic relief, if mine doesn't
go very well.

I've mostly just used it as an emergency repair CD, when things
go wrong [yes, I've made mistakes that rendered the hard-drive OS
unusable. No, not often enough to get good at it], so anything
I'd have to say probably wouldn't fill an hour.

I have read a lot *about* it though, and it has been a handy
template for which of the leanest and cleanest little apps to
install under Xubuntu.

Any, but that overhead projection monitor thingie would come in
very handy. I tested the laptop this morning, and as long as
everything's connected before boot-up, it *will* display video on
its built-in screen and an external monitor simultaneously.

Should I send you and David Bronaugh [Meeting Coordinator] an
outline for these, or just surprise you if/when the time comes?

Patrick.
