Could be a bit slow(??) for RAID. It depends on how much data will
need to be mirrored each day. If it's just a couple Megs or less
then the flash would be great. If it's a huge amount of data that
is similtaneously being accessed 24 hours per day....I dunno...

Flash drives are now used on satellites and probes.
They seem to last fine there.

What's the price on *good quality* flash as compared to a
hard drive?

What's the speed like?
