[Discuss] Shaw regular average speed vs. Telus?

Right now on Shaw I'm averaging 1.2Mbps down and 0.3Mbps with BT.
Though any given torrent isn't going that fast... It looks like
40Kbps is the fastest. So they could be throttling individual
connections, but I haven't really noticed before. I assumed the
torrent was slow.
