I'll be the first to say: go with Shaw.  I'm with Telus' DSL and my 
connection is *much* slower than my buddies (although he's on the Shaw 
Extreme speed).  I believe he told me that his speeds were typically in 
the 500 KBps range, which is a good 3 times as fast as standard DSL.

I'm a bit curious though, I usually only get around 155KBps on Telus 
DSL, are you on the 1.5 Mbps plan or something higher?
