The sole purpose of this list is to discuss linux issues
of *ALL* types, at *ALL* levels of comfort and absorption.
There is/was a newbie discuss list, is that still running?
We all need to take a 'Patience Pill' occasionally and try not
to pounce on people who may have or retain a few gaps.
People learn in different ways. Some people also
have more pressing things to think about than learning
every nuance of linux or their distro.
That's what it means to be a *Mainstream* OS, all people at
all levels.
So, by virtue of the fact that Murray is asking his questions
here, I suggest that is a good thing and a very good sign for
the use of linux. Would you rather he just gave up and went
back to windows and then expressed his distaste for
'those linux people'?
