[Discuss] Crashed computer on Xubuntu install

Well a quick look on the grub website shows that Error 22 is the
following 

22 : No such partition
        This error is returned if a partition is requested in the device
        part of a device- or full file name which isn't on the selected
        disk.

So it sounds like you either deleted your partition or the entry
in /boot/grub/menu.lst has an invalid reference.

Do you have any other boot options and if so have you tried them ?

What were the last changes you made to your computer ? Did you upgrade
the kernel ?
