As Paul mentioned you missed probably the most grass roots and hard
core open source event in Canada, and it is called:
(Ottawa) Linux Symposium

Linuxfest Northwest is just across the water and border

The strong PHP and Drupal community in Vancouver are regularly doing
events. Already this year:

I imagine there is also still a LinuxWorld (Canada) Conference in Toronto
