[Discuss] excuse me?

My newly discovered super skill is bad analogies, this is an especially 
bad inverse analogy:

Asking linux users and advocates to purchase proprietary software for 
you is like asking a prostitute to help find you a gf so you can get laid.

linux users push open free software => prostitutes sell sex

asking someone that doesn't use proprietary software (whether paid for 
or not) to purchase it for you => Asking someone that sells sex to get 
it for you for free

Yeah it was bad, and offtopic. But that makes at least 3 bad analogies 
today (I'm on my way to upper management!)
