Hi Allan:

A couple of reasons why I dropped out of the VLUG, neither one of them
terribly serious. One was that the transportation issue became acute
when I stopped driving a couple of years ago, and bus service to where I
was living virtually stopped at 9:00 pm. Other than that, I had quit
using Linux; couldn't get enough clear answers to questions, of which I
had many (!) and so had reverted to Windows. But now that I'm using
Ubuntu and liking it, and have regular 10 min. bus schedule up to
midnight, I'll probably be back again.
