	I wouldn't say stupid (unless you insist on using this method), but 
doing this over a network without the use of iSCSI (or something 
similar) is definitely a poor idea (based on what I know).

	Thoughts? Sure! How about this, setup a NAS proxy/gateway. What I am 
thinking is this. The proxy/gateway operates a "buffer" RAID that is 
linked to your two existing NAS devices. I would connect each NAS to 
this proxy/gateway through their own dedicated NIC. No bottlenecks that 
way. Also, the proxy/gateway machine likely needs to be powerful enough 
to handle the data I/O over the two NICs at the same time.

	Additional comments from anyone else?
