SuSe, as a Linux distro can't be compared to SCO, so the FUD is un-warranted, unless you own RedHat stock *g*.
As SuSe is still the base for the Linux used by IBM and Sun ... and that these 2 are even less likely to make themselves more dependant on RedHat with Oracle sending an arrow at the heart of RedHat ... I'm not too worried.

Well I hope you are right, and my gloomy forecast for Novell and SuSe is
wrong. SuSe has a long and honorable Linux history, and it would be a shame
to see it vanish through Novell ineptitude.
OTOH, it might be good to at least review your exit strategy from SuSe. If
it suddenly goes south you don't want to end up in the position of the last
of the SCO-Unix users. Also remember what happened to Corel Linux just after
Corel made the deal with MS.
