[Discuss] stitching images together in The Gimp ??

I discovered nobody really answer your question.
I assume all images have the same size.
Cut and Paste all images on top of one. The idea is to have one single
file, with multiple layers.
Now enlarge the canvas.
You're free to move each of the layers around as you please.
