	Not true. When you click the get mail button, it checks ALL accounts. 
Same for using the keyboard shortcut (CTRL+SHIFT+T).

	I think there is a command line switch for starting up in offline mode. 
Check the help/manuals and the online mozilla KB. I seem to recall doing 
something similar with NetScape 4 back in the day.

	Personally, I use Thunderbird on my computers and I run my own IMAP 
mail server with TLS/SSL support.
	I was being sincere, sorry to hear you thought I was being a smart ass.
