I'm sure there must be a few windows spam worms being used,
however, most of the more sophisticated spammers/phishers are now
using Linux boxes with a mailserver of thier own.

These people aren't just script kiddies anymore.
Not that I think you are, but the one can't just
blame windows then roll over and go back to sleep
at this point.
