 Dear list,

I have been using the home brew lirc receiver circuit with my PI machine
without any problem. I have upgraded my machine recently with AMD semapron
processor with Asrock mother-board. the mother-board has only one COM port.
The problem is my receiver circuit is not working with the new mother-board
where it is working perfectly with the mother-board of PI. I am using the
same HDD hence same 2.6.10 custom build kernel with both mother-board & CPU.
May be the new mother-board fails to provide the required voltage/current to
the receiver circuit. Could any one know any lirc receiver circuit which can
work with this type of low voltage/current com port ?

I know about http://www.irblaster.info/receiver.html which works down about
5.2V with about 15mA output from your serial port. But the site does not
provide any circuit ; only sell the ready made kit.

 thanks in advanced.
