Dear all, if a badly corrupted floppy or cd is run under linux then the console shows *I/O error* and this process repeats until the linux complete the entire file or cd checking. Is there any command to to stop the process of accessing the disk (floppy or cd) ? I have tried with pressing ctrl+c with out any success. thanks
