And be *very* careful about documenting the buildings, as most of the 
published books are, not to put too fine a point on it, rubbish.

In particular, Exploring Victoria's Archietcture (by Martin Segger et. 
al.) is riddled with errors. And as for Danda Humphreys.....

arguably has more and better information on this topic than - well, 
anyone else.
