Scott Petersen usually hangs out on this list and uses Asterisk to
manage his home phone system. I haven't seen him respond yet so he may
be away, but he can probably point you in the right direction.
I do know there is a debian configuration for quick/easier install of
the whole thing that has been talked about on a few of the lists that
might get you something to review quicker.
Cheers,
Thor HW

Subject: [Discuss] Suggested Asterisk Reading
Hello all,
I think there were a few people on the list that were quite into
Asterisk. Not sure if you are around anymore or not.
I'm looking to do a lot of reading on it over Christmas... just
wondering if anyone could point me to some reading they would
recommend. I haven't even googled much yet... I'm just wondering if
anyone has found and can easily recall some really good resources on
it. I'm basically at the know not much of anything about Asterisk
stage. So if there were something that you've found to be a good for
explaining the 'big picture' of what it can do (and what you need to
do it), that would actually be very helpful at this point.
Thanks for your time.
- Clint
